The Marine Science Institute is a small place, so plan for a short visit.
There are two classrooms:
In the first classroom, there are a few tanks with fish, star fish and sea anemone.
Also, there is a bigger tank with small leopard sharks you can pet.
In the second classroom, there are a few species you can touch/pet, from
flat fishes to crabs, star fish and more.
In both classrooms the staff were knowledgeable and shared interesting
information.
There is a big picnic area outside with picnic tables and room to run and
splash.
The Marine Science Institute have free Open House about once a month, and it’s
a nice way to spend a morning.
