Independence Day 2017 - East Bay

ALAMEDA
Everybody loves a parade, and Alameda's annual Mayor's Fourth of July extravaganza is one of the largest and longest Independence Day parade in the nation.

Celebrate July 4th onboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Hornet! Complete with live music, food, classic cars and activities for the whole family to enjoy. 

Alameda County Fair


ALBANY
Live music, contests, diaper derby, reptile show, car show, family games and more.


ANTIOCH

Car show, kids zone, live music, contests, and more.



BERKELEY
4th of July @ Berkeley Marina 12-10pm 
Kids adventure playground, live entertainment, fireworks and more.




BRENTWOOD 
Classic 4th of July Parade and Celebration - 9am-1pm 
A nostalgic, small town 4th of July in downtown Brentwood.




CONCORD
4th of July Celebration 
5k race and Kids Run - 8am - Stars & Stripes 5K Run & Walk

Parade - 10am - Celebrate Concord… Family, community and business!

Festival - 4pm - kids carnival, food booths, exhibits, and live entertainment on stage.

Fireworks - 9pm




DANVILLE
Kiwanis Annual 4th of July Parade - 9-11am



EL CERRITO
4th of July Festival 10am-6:30pm 
Live entertainment, children’s fun area with carnival games, jump houses and rides, arts and crafts, food, local businesses and more.


FREMONT
Old-Fashioned Independence Day at Ardenwood Historic Farm - 10am-4pm
Come celebrate our nation's 241st birthday! Competitions for the whole family, rousing patriotic music, magic shows, Patterson house tours, train rides and more!  
Fee: Adults $10; Seniors $8; Kids (4-17yrs) $5; 3 years and under free.

Fremont 4th of July Parade - 10am-1pm
Celebrate our nations Independence Day with thousands of parade onlookers! Come early, reserve your spot, and join in the fun while watching whimsical floats, fantastic giant balloons, and marching bands. There may be a few surprises too!

NEWARK
Join the county's firefighters for the Annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast at Station 27.



OAKLAND
This festive day will fill the waterfront with activities and entertainment for both parents and children. Free to attend, the July 4th Backyard BBQ will also feature tasty treats, music and much more.

USS Potomac Cruise on Franklin Roosevelt’s “Floating White House” the USS Potomac to Fireworks locations along San Francisco Bay. Appetizers, Sumptuous Deserts, Champagne, Tea, Coffee and Water will be served to celebrate Independence Day.

Food, Entertainment, and Fun Music by Ann Gibson and Frederick Hodges. 
Adults - $15, Children 5-11 - $5 (Under 5 free), admission includes BBQ lunch.
